Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, lifting, moving and stacking warehouse materials.
  • Handle marble, granite, tiles, slabs and other heavy materials with care.
  • Transport materials within the warehouse and designated storage areas.
  • Ensure materials are properly positioned and secured to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the forklift operating and storage areas.
  • Handle company equipment, materials and property responsibly.

Requirements

  • Previous professional experience as a Forklift Operator is required.
  • Proven ability to safely handle and move heavy materials.
  • Experience handling marble, granite, tiles, slabs, construction materials or similar products is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures
  • Valid forklift licence/certification, where applicable, is an advantage.
