Job Summary

• The teacher will teach students the principles of nutrition, food science, meal planning, and practical cooking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver both theoretical and practical lessons in Food & Nutrition.
• Organize and supervise practical cooking sessions.
• Teach students about healthy eating, food safety, and hygiene.
• Prepare students for practical and written examinations.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen equipment and food supplies.
• Ensure safety standards are met during practical sessions.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Ed, B.Sc Degree in Food Science/Nutrition/Home Economics, or a related field.
• 2+ years proven experience in Food and Nutrition, or Home Economics.
• Practical experience in catering or food preparation is an added advantage.
• Good organizational and supervisory skills.
• Passion for teaching healthy living.
