Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric - essential. Trade Tested Fitter & Turner - essential. Minimum 3 years' relevant maintenance experience, preferably in an agricultural, livestock or food production environment. Valid driver's licence will be an advantage. Experience working with farm machinery and mechanical equipment. Ability to work independently and respond to breakdowns and emergencies. Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements. Physically fit and able to work outdoors and in demanding farm conditions. Advantageous Experience Experience with: Cattle/livestock handling equipment. Feed mills and feeding systems. Water pumps and borehole equipment. Conveyors. Gearboxes and drive systems. Generators and compressors. Tractors and agricultural machinery. Hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Welding and fabrication. Abattoir/meat-processing equipment.
