Our client, based in the Sibaya precinct, is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management and reporting functions of the business. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting and compliance, and manage a team of three finance staff members.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day financial operations and accounting functions.
Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
Analyse financial results and investigate variances against budget.
Ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
Maintain effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax legislation and statutory requirements.
Coordinate the annual audit and liaise with external auditors.
Monitor working capital, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
Manage, support and develop a team of three finance staff members.
Provide financial information and analysis to support management decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
Newly qualified CA(SA) - essential.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exposure to ERP or financial accounting systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work accurately under pressure.
Willingness to take a hands-on approach to financial management and team leadership.
