Job summary
This role is a frontline controller of the company’s cash outflows, vendor relationships, and financial integrity.
Responsibilities
Invoice & GR/IR Processing: Accurately process and post OTC invoices within 24 hours of receipt, reduce payment errors by 90%, and complete Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) postings within 3 days while immediately flagging VAT, ERP, or price/quantity mismatches.
Vendor Reconciliations & Relationship Management: Perform routine vendor account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies (e.g., duplicate entries, missing invoices), and respond to vendor and regional queries within 24 hours.
Tax Compliance: Ensure 100% tax compliance (VAT and WHT) across all postings and financial transactions.
Regional & Inter-Region Operations: Complete allocated regional postings within 4 days, clear 100% of inter-region postings prior to month-end closure, and ensure accurate descriptions on all outstanding reporting lines.
Document Management: Securely attach all supporting documentation to posted SAP transactions within 24 hours of posting.
Requirements
BSc/HND Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant working experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
