Job Description

  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage invoices and receipts.
  • Coordinate tax and statutory obligations with external advisers where applicable.
  • Monitor commissions, platform fees and subscription revenue.
  • Identify financial irregularities and escalate them.
  • Provide financial reports to the CEO.
  • Develop financial controls to minimise fraud and errors.

Ensures facilitation of knowledge building and management focusing on achievement of the following results: Sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice. Organization of specialized trainings for secretaries. Organization of trainings to UN staff on coordination, administration and protocol issues. Experience A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in administration is required. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) is desirable. Experience in handling web-based management systems is desirable. Key Responsibilities Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Junior Finance Officer to support the company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations. Process and record daily financial transactions accurately. Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities. Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents. Track project-related expenses, operational costs, and petty cash. Review invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Monitor expenditure on materials, equipment, labour, subcontractors, logistics, and other project costs. Experience in construction, civil engineering, contracting, procurement, or other project-based businesses is an advantage.
