About the Company
APEXLINK NAVIX GLOBAL CORPORATION is seeking an experienced, strategic and commercially astute Finance Director to provide financial leadership, oversee financial operations and drive the organisation's financial sustainability and growth.
The successful candidate will provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, strengthen financial controls, optimise resource allocation and ensure effective financial planning, reporting and risk management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy and Leadership
Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
Provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial modelling.
Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial recommendations to support business expansion.
Develop financial strategies to improve profitability, liquidity and shareholder value.
2. Financial Management and Reporting
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate financial records and timely management reporting.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, revenue and expenditure.
Analyse financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
3. Budgeting and Cost Management
Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Monitor departmental budgets and expenditure against approved financial plans.
Identify cost optimisation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Establish effective cost-control mechanisms.
Evaluate financial performance against budgets and business targets.
4. Treasury and Cash Flow Management
Oversee cash management, banking relationships and treasury operations.
Ensure adequate liquidity to support business operations.
Manage working capital, receivables and payables.
Develop cash flow forecasts and funding strategies.
Monitor foreign exchange exposure and financial risks.
5. Financial Risk and Internal Controls
Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls.
Identify and manage financial, operational and investment risks.
Oversee internal and external audit processes.
Ensure appropriate financial governance and accountability.
Implement measures to prevent fraud, financial mismanagement and unauthorised expenditure.
6. Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and statutory financial obligations.
Oversee tax planning, tax returns and statutory reporting.
Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting and corporate governance requirements.
7. Investment and Business Development Support
Conduct financial feasibility assessments for new projects and business opportunities.
Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and investment returns.
Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and strategic business initiatives where applicable.
Develop financial models to assess business viability and profitability.
Provide financial insights to support commercial negotiations and strategic decisions.
8. Team Leadership and Development
Lead and manage the finance and accounting department.
Recruit, mentor and develop finance professionals.
Establish departmental performance targets and accountability measures.
Promote professional standards, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Build effective working relationships with other departmental heads.
