Job Overview

FMR Agency is recruiting a strategic and results-driven Finance & Accounts Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for our client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, financial controls, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and team leadership.

This role requires a highly analytical finance professional who can strengthen internal controls, improve financial processes, protect company profitability, and provide accurate financial insights that support business growth and decision-making.

Ultimately, you will ensure sound financial management by maintaining accurate financial records, enforcing financial discipline, and building a high-performing finance function that supports the organization\'s long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure timely submission to management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets while tracking actual expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Monitor company costs, profitability, and gross margins, providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely statutory remittances, tax compliance, regulatory filings, and audit readiness.
  • Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits while implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Utilize ERP systems and financial reporting tools to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, management reports, and business performance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve finance processes across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN (ACA), ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years\' progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, taxation, and financial controls.
  • Experience using ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent understanding of statutory compliance, audit processes, and financial governance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
