Roles and Responsibilities
Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, service, test and maintain equipment and systems at customer sites.
Diagnose faults systematically, identify root causes and implement corrective action.
Verify equipment and system performance after repairs, maintenance or commissioning.
Attend to service requests within agreed timelines and minimize repeat visits through effective first-time resolution.
Prepare accurate service, maintenance, commissioning and inspection reports, including equipment condition, work performed, parts used, recommendations and customer sign-off.
Capture field activities using the Company's service management and digital field-service systems.
Provide professional technical advice and explain faults, corrective actions, operating requirements and recommendations to customers.
Identify and report additional repair, maintenance, replacement, upgrade and service opportunities.
Coordinate or provide technical direction to assistants, subcontractors and other site personnel where required.
Maintain and account for assigned tools, test equipment, spare parts, consumables and company vehicles.
Comply with Company procedures, occupational health and safety requirements, environmental standards, warranty procedures and technical protocols.
Work collaboratively with Sales, Projects, Service and other technical teams.
Maintain positive customer relationships and represent the D&S brand professionally.
Qualifications and Experience
A higher Diploma/Diploma in Water, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institution.
At least three (3) years' relevant experience in water-treatment plant installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pumps, dosing systems, filters, valves, control panels, instrumentation and associated equipment.
Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control systems.

Experience with Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultrafiltration (UF), water softeners, filtration, chlorination and chemical dosing systems will be an added advantage.
EPRA Electrical C1/C2 or Solar T2/T3 qualification, or equivalent practical installation experience will be an added advantage.
