Responsibilities
Assist in Electrical & Automation maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection on Wartsila equipment.
Participate in testing and verification activities following maintenance, overhaul and modernization projects.
Gain practical experience with engine control systems, UNIC systems, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation and automation interfaces.
Observe and learn customer-facing service practices and technical communication
Comply with Wartsila safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and quality standards.
Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments.
Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and improvement opportunities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate willingness to learn, adaptability, teamwork and a safety-first mindset.
Continuously work towards becoming an independent Electrical & Automation Service Engineer
