REQUIEREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

• Certificate in Mortuary Science from a recognized institution
• Have a minimum qualification of KCSE mean grade of D+(Plus) and above
• Registered by Kenya Health Professional Oversight Authority and have a valid practicing license
• Proficiency in computer application skills.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare bodies and human specimens for pathological investigations
• Prepare and preserve bodies in the compartment tray of the refrigerator.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene in the mortuary
• Keep and maintain morgue records.
• Release body to authorized person;
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
