Job Description

  • We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Family Physician to join our medical team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary and family medical care to patients.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Provide appropriate referrals to specialists and coordinate patients' ongoing care.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date medical records.
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
  • Specialist qualification in Family Medicine/Family Practice.
  • Current registration and a valid license to practise medicine.
  • At least 3 years post fellowship experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making

Keeping up-to-date with medical developments such as new drugs on the market, new treatment methods, and technological advancements to be discussed with the doctors and the Medical Director. Discussing the development of new pharmaceutical products with the clinic's pharmacist and accredited pharmaceutical sales representatives and give feedback to the Medical Director. Maintaining a portfolio of continuing professional development programmes by organising clinical meetings and presentations Developing quality assurance procedures for clinical processes. Offering health promotion and prevention activities within the clinic, for example, training all medical staff to use devices such as ECG machines and diabetes monitors. Conducting immigration medical examinations to fulfil the technical requirements of the resettlement countries in the areas of: Medical examinations; Imaging; Laboratory testing; Vaccinations; TB management; Treatment and referrals; Documentation, certification and information transmission; and, Other technical areas as may be required Ensuring proper identification of clients/applicants during the health assessment and record all relevant health information in standard forms; ensuring completeness and accuracy of the recorded information. Participating in the treatment of TB and sexually transmitted infections and provide support to the HIV and counselling activities in full compliance with the technical instructions, guidelines and protocols of the resettlement countries. Performing other tasks as may be assigned.
