Role Summary
Lead factory overall operations, with responsibility for production, quality, costs, people, asset reliability and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate production, raw-material supply, maintenance and dispatch.
- Establish Good Manufacturing Practice GMP, food-safety and quality systems.
- Manage operating budgets, production costs and continuous improvement.
- Develop the factory team and manage regulatory, supplier and community relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ manufacturing experience, including five years in senior plant or factory leadership.
- Demonstrated GMP experience in food, beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proven experience in commissioning, plant turnaround or measurable operational improvement.
- Strong budgeting, people-management and problem-solving skills.
- Cassava, starch, flour or grain-processing experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to reside at or near the factory.
