Improve learning outcomes in the 3Rs (Reading, Writing, Arithmetic).
Examine strengths and gaps in the existing TCPD programme.
Identify evidencebased best practices in Africa for foundational learning.
Review and update TCPD programme jointly with teacher colleges.Main Activities
Main Activities
Conduct desk review of key education policy documents.
Participate in scoping meeting; develop scope note, methodology, timetable.
Consult with stakeholders (teachers, trainers, quality assurance officers).
Contribute to data collection (classroom observations, FGDs, interviews).
Benchmark innovative practices for foundational learning in Africa.
Cofacilitate technical working sessions with MoEST, TTCs, and TIE.
Contribute to review, update, and development of TCPD content/tools.
Incorporate feedback during validation process.
Prepare final assignment report.Expected Deliverables
