Role Description

  • The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to senior leadership, ensuring efficient coordination of daily activities and strategic initiatives. This full-time, on-site role is based in Lagos and involves managing calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and organizing internal and external appointments. The Executive Assistant prepares reports, presentations, and correspondence, maintains confidential records, and supports effective communication between the executive and internal or external stakeholders. The role also includes organizing events and meetings, tracking action items, prioritizing incoming requests, and proactively identifying ways to improve workflow and time management for the executive. The Executive Assistant is expected to operate with discretion, professionalism, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, including calendar management, task prioritization, and follow-up on action items.
  • Candidates should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting emails, reports, presentations, and professional correspondence.
  • Candidates should have proficiency with productivity tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Office, email, and scheduling tools).
  • Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder management, relationship building, and maintaining professional interactions with internal and external partners.
  • Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Candidates should have problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and capacity to make sound judgments in a dynamic environment.
  • Relevant experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Officer, or similar role supporting senior leadership is highly beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or large-scale corporate environments in Nigeria is an added advantage.
