Role Overview

• We are looking for an energetic Event Coverage Officer to capture live events for NDTV. You will be responsible for shooting clean, stable, high-quality video using both cameras and smartphones, capturing key moments, and telling clear visual stories in fast-paced event settings.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Event Coverage: Attend events, shows, and assignments to capture clear, sharp, and stable video footage.
• Dual-Device Shooting: Comfortably operate professional cameras and smartphones to gather quick clips and full event coverage.
• Visual Storytelling: Frame shots properly, record clean audio, and capture key highlights that tell an engaging story.
• Fast Turnaround: Work calmly under event pressure to deliver video footage quickly for social media uploads and editing.
• Team Coordination: Work hand in hand with presenters, event hosts, and editors to ensure complete coverage.

Requirements

• Practical experience shooting videos with cameras, smartphones, and audio/lighting gear.
• Ability to capture steady, clear, well-framed videos (using gimbals or tripods where necessary).
• Good eye for storytelling and picking out important event moments.
• Strong organization skills and ability to perform under high-pressure event s ituations.
• Great communication skills and professional behavior on-site.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and dependable power backup.
