The Enterprise Architect - Data is a key member of the Enterprise Architecture team, owning the architectural direction for enterprise data assets, data platforms, and information management capabilities across Coca-Cola HBC.
This role spans the full breadth of the enterprise data landscape, encompassing Data Strategy, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Data Integration, Data Platforms, Reporting Foundations, and Information Architecture. The role acts as a trusted advisor and architectural authority, ensuring that data capabilities across functions and markets operate as a connected and trusted enterprise ecosystem rather than isolated business or technology silos.
The Enterprise Architect brings a deep understanding of how data supports business processes and decision-making across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, People & Culture, and Digital domains. They define target architectures, standards, and roadmaps that enable the organization to manage data as a strategic enterprise asset, ensuring consistency, quality, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the Enterprise Architect governs the enterprise data landscape, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology investments, and enterprise architecture principles. The role is responsible for establishing a scalable and sustainable data foundation that supports operational excellence, reporting, compliance, business performance management, and future digital transformation initiatives.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE STRATEGY & OWNERSHIP:
- Own and evolve the Enterprise Data Architecture vision and strategy.
- Define and maintain target-state architectures, reference models, and transformation roadmaps for enterprise data capabilities.
- Establish a coherent enterprise information architecture across all major business domains.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy and enterprise data investments.
- Drive standardization and simplification of the enterprise data landscape.
ARCHITECTURE PRINCIPLES, STANDARDS & GOVERNANCE:
- Define, communicate, and enforce enterprise data architecture principles and standards.
- Partner with Data Governance teams to establish effective governance frameworks and operating models.
- Ensure consistency of business definitions, master data, metadata, and reference data across the organization.
- Drive enterprise-wide adoption of common data standards and models.
- Ensure data management practices support regulatory, privacy, security, and compliance requirements

- Extensive EA Experience: Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect within large, complex organizations. Extensive experience designing and governing enterprise data architecture. Experience developing target-state architectures, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and standards.
- Executive Influence: Ability to operate effectively at enterprise and executive levels. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to communicate complex data architecture concepts in business terms.
- Deep Data & Business Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of business processes end-to-end, combined with extensive knowledge of enterprise data management practices and emerging trends in the data landscape. Crucially, proven ability to define, govern, and integrate enterprise-wide data capabilities, including:
- Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality Management, Metadata Management and Data Lineage, Information Architecture, Enterprise Data Modelling, Data Security and Privacy, Data Warehousing and Lakehouse Concepts, Reporting and Business Intelligence Foundations, Architecture Frameworks and Governance.
- Best-of-Breed Technology Expertise: Specific experience with modern enterprise data platforms and technologies is highly desirable, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP BW / BW4HANA, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Experience working across multiple business domains including Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, applied pragmatically (principles, target states, roadmaps, governance).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
