Duties and Responsibilities
- This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: implementing policies, strategies, guidelines, standards and regulations on water management; updating the water users' associations inventory; collecting and compiling data for water planning; and identifying and compiling inventory on relevant stakeholders in water management.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
- Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: - Water and Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural and Bio-Systems Engineering, Soil and Water Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
- Registration to a relevant professional body; and,
- Certificate in computer application skills.
