Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee engineering and maintenance operations of hotel, property, restaurant and grounds.
Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns.
Perform and monitor maintenance and preventative projects.
Address buildingrelated safety concerns.
Perform duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and courtesy.
Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Handle internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
Ensure proactive and preventative maintenance within budget.
Manage maintenance department employees to maximize effectiveness.
Set and control departmental budget.
Maintain compliance with hotel maintenance procedures.
Support departmental maintenance programs and execute checklists.
Supervise temporary maintenance associates.
Assist management in specifying supplies and equipment.Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years’ hotel engineering experience, 2+ years in leadership role.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building automation systems.
Familiarity with local building codes, fire safety and environmental regulations.
Strong problemsolving, budgeting and team management skills.
