About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems within our processing operations.
  • The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience maintaining industrial electrical equipment and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation equipment, including industrial motor controls and pump drives.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical equipment, appliances, machinery, and control systems.
  • Diagnose electrical faults down to component level to extend equipment lifespan and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centres, high-voltage equipment, and high-voltage motors.
  • Maintain engine generators and associated control circuit equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair building electrical circuits and related equipment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot alarm systems, VFDs, soft starters, pneumatic and electronic controls, and programmable control systems.
  • Conduct thermographic inspections of electrical distribution panels and motor control systems.

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical machinery, equipment, and electronic control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and carry out electrical maintenance across different types and models of machines.
  • Practical knowledge of industrial motor controls, pump drives, generators, VFDs, soft starters, and control systems.
  • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.
