E-commerce Operations & Logistics Associate

Our client,a leading player in trade and export, seeks to manage daily storefront operations on JD.com while coordinating local warehouse consolidation in Mombasa and overseeing international logistics execution.

Key Repsonsibilities:

• Upload and maintain Chinese product listings, digital assets, origin videos, and localized product descriptions.
• Coordinate inventory levels across Mombasa consolidation hubs and JD.com bonded warehouses in China to prevent stockouts during surge periods (+200% capacity).
• Manage daily order processing, customer service tickets (via native translation tools/agents), and dispute resolution under Chinese e-commerce regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers for shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Origin).
• Compile data for the Quarterly Supplier Performance Reviews (QBRs) tracking delivery rates, return rates, and stock metrics.

Key Qualifications and SKills:

• Bachelors/ Mastersin Management or Supply Chain
• 3+ years in e-commerce operations, digital marketing, or international logistics coordination.
• Proficiency with e-commerce store dashboards, inventory management systems, and cross-border shipping documentation.
• Native/Fluent Swahili and English with strong written communications; basic Mandarin is a plus.
