Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, guests, management, and company materials safely and efficiently while ensuring that assigned vehicles are properly maintained and kept clean.

The ideal candidate must have excellent knowledge of local routes, a valid driver's licence, good communication skills, and a strong commitment to road safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport staff, guests, management, and authorized personnel to designated locations.
• Pick up and drop off guests, staff, and company representatives as assigned.
• Transport company documents, supplies, equipment, and other authorized items.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while observing all road traffic regulations.
• Use GPS and navigation applications to plan efficient routes and avoid unnecessary delays.
• Conduct daily checks of the assigned vehicle before use.
• Monitor fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential vehicle components.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, neat, and in good operating condition.
• Report mechanical problems, accidents, damage, or maintenance requirements immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, trips, and vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure that all required vehicle documents are valid and available.
• Observe company policies regarding the use and security of company vehicles.
• Maintain confidentiality when transporting management, guests, staff, or company information.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when required.
• Demonstrate professional and courteous behaviour when interacting with guests, clients, and staff.
• Perform other duties related to transportation as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Ability to driver manual and automatic cars
• Previous experience as a company, hotel, executive, or hospitality driver is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes.
• Ability to use Google Maps and other navigation applications.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Clean and safe driving record is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful traffic situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, or overtime when required.
