Doctor Detailing Representative

Job Description

• A leading pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a motivated Doctor Detailing Representative to join their Independent & Corporate Pharmacies Business Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, expanding market presence and building strong relationships with pharmacists and key decision-makers across independent and corporate pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and pharmacy groups.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists and key customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct regular pharmacy visits and manage product orders and stock levels.
• Provide product information, training and demonstrations to pharmacy staff.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales and market records.
• Collaborate with internal teams on product launches and promotional strategies.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, pharmacovigilance and company requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Pharmaceutical sales experience is advantageous; training may be provided to suitable candidates without direct pharmaceutical experience.
• Strong sales, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Target-driven, resilient and professional.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel extensively, with approximately 95% of the role being field-based.
