Brendan Nicholas Holdings (BNH) invites applications for the position of Director of Investment for its Agriculture and Food Systems desk.
BNH is a permanent capital institution. It builds companies and holds them for the long term, without a fund life or forced exit. This is a founding appointment, and the Director will build the desk's portfolio from its first company onward.
The Director will hold the mandate for the desk and report to the Managing Director. The Director will appoint the chief executive and constitute the board of each company on the desk. The Director will also present capital cases to the Investment Committee, set the desk's strategy, and originate its next companies.
BNH seeks a candidate who has carried an asset from origination to operation, held decision authority over capital, and built boards. Above all, the candidate must be able to bring regulators, development finance institutions, and industrial counterparties together around a single asset.
The position is based in Abuja. BNH welcomes applications from candidates currently outside Nigeria.
