Requirements: A relevant qualification on NQF level 7 as recognised by SAQA; 5 years’ middle/senior management experience. Competencies: Strategic Capability and Leadership; Project and Programme Management; Change Management; People Management and Empowerment; Financial Management.
Duties: Monitor municipal infrastructure planning, maintenance, development and budgeting; Facilitate long-term municipal infrastructure planning and funding with due regard to municipal budgets and joint district and metro approach processes; Facilitate support to municipalities with full life-cycle asset planning, frameworks, policies and systems; Support municipalities with infrastructure governance and services delivery; Ensure that monitoring of performance of municipalities and provide professional and technical support with regard to the implementation of the Municipal Capital Budget; Strategic Management (including change management); and Financial and People Management.
