Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and digitally savvy Shortlet Operations & Digital Marketing Officer to manage its online presence, property visibility, bookings and promotional activities.
• The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a shortlet, serviced apartment, hotel, hospitality or related property business, with a proven track record.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly update the company website with apartment availability, prices, amenities, pictures and other relevant information.
• Manage online bookings, enquiries, availability and pricing updates.
• Manage Paystack payments and ensure booking/payment information is properly tracked.
• Manage all company social media platforms and maintain a consistent, engaging online presence.
• Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility, enquiries, occupancy and bookings.
• Create promotional flyers, adverts, social media creatives, videos and other marketing materials.
• Develop new ideas and initiatives to continuously promote the apartments and attract customers.
• Monitor competitors, trends and digital platforms for new marketing opportunities.
• Ensure all information across the website and digital platforms is accurate, current and consistent.

Design, Content & Technical Skills:

The candidate should be able to independently handle basic-to-intermediate creative design and digital content production, including:

• Graphic design using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar platforms.
• Creating professional flyers, banners, social media posts, promotional materials and digital adverts.
• Basic video editing and content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms.
• Good photography/video content sense, particularly for showcasing luxury apartments and amenities.
• Strong copywriting and content-writing skills for adverts, captions, website content and promotional campaigns.
• Ability to use Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook and other social media management tools.
• Ability to independently update and manage website content, including text, images, prices, availability and basic website elements.
• Good understanding of digital marketing, SEO/content optimisation and online customer engagement.
• Ability to work with Paystack and other relevant digital/online platforms.
• Strong general computer skills and ability to quickly learn new digital tools and platforms.

Requirements

• 2 - 3 years' relevant experience, preferably directly within shortlets, serviced apartments, hotels, hospitality or property management.
• Proven track record in digital marketing, property promotion or online accommodation management.
• IT savvy and comfortable managing websites, online platforms and digital tools.
• Strong design, content creation and copywriting skills.
• Creative, proactive and commercially minded, with a focus on generating actual enquiries and bookings.
• Honest, trustworthy and highly accountable, particularly when handling bookings and payments.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Ideal Candidate

• We are looking for someone who is creative, technically competent, proactive and commercially driven, someone who can identify what needs to be updated, create the required content, promote the apartments creatively and introduce new initiatives that can increase bookings.
• Candidates with direct experience managing the digital, marketing and operational aspects of a shortlet or serviced apartment business will be strongly preferred.
