Key responsibilities: Generate new business through proactive lead generation, prospecting, referrals and networking Identify and qualify potential clients, understand their business and marketing objectives and uncover their needs Present the business' products and services in a clear, relevant and persuasive way Develop tailored proposals that connect recommended solutions to client goals and expected value Manage opportunities from first contact through negotiation and close, across a range of deal sizes Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, follow up consistently, and keep sales records and forecasts up to date Work with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover from sale to campaign delivery and client service Keep up to date with digital marketing, advertising technology, data and market developments Requirements and qualities: Proven success in sales, business development or a similar client-facing commercial role Strong lead generation, negotiation and closing skills Able to build relationships with senior decision-makers and earn clients' trust Commercially astute, articulate and quick to understand a client's business needs Genuine interest in digital marketing, advertising and the role data plays in reaching audiences and measuring results Confident presenting ideas and explaining value in straightforward business terms Energetic, outgoing, self-motivated and comfortable working toward sales targets Organised and persistent, with strong follow-through and pipeline management Comfortable networking in business and social settings, including golf or padel events where relevant Experience in digital media, advertising technology, marketing or media sales would be advantageous This is an opportunity to sell data-led digital marketing solutions in a growing AdTech business.
