Purpose

• Manage the effective maintenance of all the machines in the mills to ensure that they are performing efficiently and effectively.

The Job

• Service and repair all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
• Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
• Operate main distribution panels for power changeovers.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on installed generators to avoid breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair auxiliary equipment supporting generator operations.
• Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect operating issues.
• Perform efficient troubleshooting and fault finding on machinery and equipment.
• Document maintenance parameters to drive plant improvement.

The Person Must:

• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of maintenance management processes, corrosion prevention techniques, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
• Efficient planning and execution of maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• 5 O' level credits including Mathematics& English in not more than 2 sittings.
• Alternatively, NABTEB, City & Guilds, or WAEC Technical certification.

Experience:

• Minimum requirement: two (2) years cognate experience.
