The Deputy Test Centre Administrator is responsible for independently managing the day-to-day operations of the IELTS test centre while driving business development, sales, revenue growth, and market expansion. The role ensures the consistent delivery of secure, compliant, efficient, and customer-focused IELTS testing services while identifying and converting business opportunities to strengthen IDP Education's market presence.
The position has dual accountability for IELTS Operations and Compliance and Business Development and Revenue Growth. This includes overseeing test scheduling, logistics, candidate administration, examination security, data management, and service delivery, alongside generating sales leads, converting prospective candidates into registrations, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing initiatives to expand market reach.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, commercial awareness, accountability, and sound judgement, with the ability to plan and execute activities independently, resolve operational challenges, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable results against agreed business objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the test centre's operational and commercial performance, escalating only significant risks, exceptions, or decisions requiring higher-level approval, while upholding IDP's values of integrity, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
