Mission Description

Based in Nairobi and reporting to the Supervisor-Bond and Customs Documentation,the successful applicant will be responsible for:-

Bond Applications & Lodging

Prepare and submit bond applications and supporting documents at Sameer and Ardhi House.
Lodge bond entries and related customs documentation within the required timelines.
Follow up on bond applications, approvals, amendments, cancellations, and releases.
Coordinate with customs officers and relevant departments to resolve queries affecting bond processing.
Ensure all supporting documents are complete and properly filed.

Statutory Letters & Applications

Support in the preparation and submission of letters to KRA, KPA, KAA, NTSA, and other relevant statutory agencies, as instructed.
Deliver and lodge applications, requests, appeals, amendments, waivers, refunds, cancellations, and other official correspondence.
Maintain a register of submitted letters and applications.
Follow up with the relevant officers and departments until feedback, approval, or action is received.
Escalate pending or delayed matters to the Supervisor for further action.

Documentation & Records

Maintain proper records of all bond applications, export documents, statutory letters, approvals, and follow-ups.
Update the department's tracking schedules and pending-items register.
Ensure copies of approved documents are returned to the office for proper filing and system updating.
Maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

Nairobi Export verification.

Facilitate the clearance and processing of Nairobi-based export consignments.
Coordinate with exporters, customs, transporters, warehouses, and other relevant parties.
Follow up on export entries, verification, release, and other customs requirements.
Assist in resolving delays or queries affecting export clearance.
Ensure export documentation is submitted accurately and within prescribed timelines
