About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Success Engineer with strong knowledge of financial accounting and ERP implementation to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, training, and ongoing support for our ERPs Especially the financial modules.
This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between finance & Accounts, technology, and customersunderstanding financial processes while being able to translate customer requirements into effective ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and support financial modules within the our ERPs
Work closely with customers to understand their financial processes, requirements, and challenges.
Configure and assist in deploying ERP financial solutions according to customer requirements.
Provide functional support and troubleshoot finance-related system issues.
Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and system demonstrations.
Assist customers with system adoption and ensure they achieve value from the ERP solution.
Translate accounting and business requirements into practical ERP solutions.
Participate in system testing, data validation, implementation, and go-live activities.
Prepare user guides, training materials, and other implementation documentation.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide timely, professional support.
Gather customer feedback and work with internal technical teams to improve system functionality and user experience.

Required Technical & Finance Skills

The ideal candidate should have:

Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
Knowledge of both Public Sector and Private Sector Financial Accounting.
Practical experience in ERP implementation, particularly financial/ accounting systems.
Ability to understand financial processes and translate them into ERP system workflows.
Experience in system configuration, testing, implementation, and user support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of accounting processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn and work with enterprise software.

Customer Success Abilities

The successful candidate must be:

Able to explain technical and financial concepts in a simple and understandable way.
Skilled in knowledge transfer and user training.
Patient, responsive, and solution-oriented when dealing with customers.
Comfortable working directly with finance teams, accountants, management, and technical teams.
Able to manage multiple customer implementations and support requests effectively.
Proactive in identifying customer challenges and recommending appropriate solutions.

Experience & Qualifications

CPA - at least Intermediate Level or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Bachelors of commerce/Business Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or another relevant undergraduate degree.
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Previous experience in ERP implementation, financial systems, accounting systems, or business application support is highly desirable.
Experience working directly with customers in a consulting, implementation, support, or customer success environment will be an added advantage.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:

Previous experience implementing or supporting UNISOL and/or GENESIS ERP.
Experience in both public-sector and private-sector financial systems.
Experience with ERP implementation methodologies and project delivery.
Knowledge of budgeting and financial management systems.
Experience conducting ERP user training and workshops.
Business analysis and requirements-gathering experience.
Knowledge of database concepts, reporting tools, or system integrations.
Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, corporates, or other large organizations.

What the Successful Candidate Will Do

The successful candidate will act as a finance and ERP specialist who ensures customers successfully implement, understand, adopt, and effectively use our financial systems.
