Role Description The Credit Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Harcourt. This role is responsible for overseeing the credit assessment process, including reviewing loan applications, analyzing financial statements, and evaluating creditworthiness in line with company policies and risk appetite. The Credit Team Lead will manage and mentor credit analysts, allocate workloads, and ensure timely processing and approval of credit requests. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring portfolio performance, identifying potential credit risks, recommending mitigation strategies, and preparing reports for management. The role also involves collaborating with relationship managers and other internal stakeholders to structure appropriate credit solutions, maintain regulatory compliance, and support continuous improvement of credit policies and procedures.
