JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a mature, experienced and professional Executive Driver to provide safe, reliable and discreet transportation for senior management and other authorised personnel.
The ideal candidate must be literate, well-mannered, responsible and highly familiar with Lagos Island and the wider Lagos terrain. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of Lagos routes, traffic patterns and alternative routes, and be able to navigate efficiently using both personal knowledge and GPS/navigation applications.
The Executive Driver must demonstrate excellent driving skills, punctuality, discretion, good personal presentation and a strong commitment to vehicle safety and maintenance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, comfortable and timely transportation to executives and authorised personnel.
Drive executives to meetings, appointments, business engagements, airports and other destinations as required.
Maintain a high level of punctuality and ensure timely arrival at all scheduled engagements.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Lagos Island, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Marina, Ajah and other major areas of Lagos.
Understand Lagos traffic patterns and identify alternative routes to minimise delays.
Use Google Maps, Waze or other GPS/navigation applications effectively.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the executive\'s movements, conversations, meetings and other company-related information.
Conduct daily checks of the assigned vehicle, including tyres, oil, water, fuel, brakes, lights and other essential components.
Ensure the vehicle is clean, neat and presentable at all times.
Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs and routine maintenance with the appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel and maintenance.
Report vehicle faults, accidents, incidents or maintenance requirements promptly.
Observe all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
Ensure the safety and security of passengers and company property while driving.
Assist executives with luggage, documents or other items when required.
Remain flexible regarding working hours, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays when business requirements necessitate.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent; OND/NCE is an advantage.
Valid Nigerian Driver\'s Licence.
Minimum of 5 years\' professional driving experience, preferably as an Executive/Corporate Driver.
Previous experience driving for senior executives, expatriates, corporate organisations or high-profile individuals is an advantage.
Mature, responsible and experienced with a calm and professional disposition.
Must have excellent knowledge of Lagos Island and the wider Lagos metropolis.
Must be familiar with major roads, landmarks, alternative routes and traffic patterns across Lagos.
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
Must be comfortable using Google Maps, Waze and other navigation applications.
Clean driving record with no history of reckless driving.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is required.

LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Applicants must currently reside on Lagos Island or within reasonable commuting distance of the Island, preferably around Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, Oniru, Lekki Phase 1, Ajah or neighbouring areas.
Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of Lagos Island and the surrounding Lagos terrain.
