Key Responsibilities

• Safely dispense cooking gas (LPG) into customers\' cylinders using the approved dispensing equipment.
• Confirm the customer\'s cylinder and ensure it is suitable and safe for filling before dispensing gas.
• Check cylinders for visible damage, leakage, faulty valves, or other safety concerns and report any defects immediately.
• Accurately measure and dispense the quantity of gas requested by the customer.
• Ensure the correct price and quantity are communicated to customers before or during transactions.
• Handle customer payments accurately and issue receipts where applicable.
• Maintain accurate records of daily gas sales, quantities dispensed, and payments received.
• Ensure the gas dispensing area remains clean, orderly, and free from combustible materials.
• Strictly observe all LPG safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Ensure customers do not smoke, use naked flames, or engage in other unsafe activities around the gas dispensing area.
• Report gas leaks, equipment faults, unusual smells, spills, or other safety hazards immediately to the Station Supervisor/Manager.
• Operate gas dispensing equipment only after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
• Assist in monitoring gas stock levels and report low stock or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering restricted gas storage or dispensing areas.
• Ensure all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn while performing duties.
• Assist customers with basic guidance on safe handling and transportation of filled gas cylinders.
• Maintain professional, courteous, and respectful relationships with customers.
• Ensure that customers receive the correct quantity of gas paid for.
• Participate in safety drills, toolbox meetings, and other company training programmes.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and lawful instructions from management.
• Perform other duties related to gas station operations as assigned by management.
