RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable building contractor in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager / Site Agent to oversee multiple building projects and ensure their successful delivery in line with programme, budget, quality and safety requirements.
This opportunity is suited to a qualified construction professional who has progressed through the ranks within a leading construction company and has extensive experience managing diverse building projects.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Building Science or a related discipline.
10–20 years’ experience in building construction.
Career progression from graduate or student level into a Contracts Manager role.
Previous experience with Tier 1 construction contractors.
Exposure to a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, retail developments, schools and similar building works.
Proven experience overseeing multiple projects through site engineers and foremen.
Strong leadership, planning, commercial and project management capabilities.
