Content Strategist & Social Media Officer

Location: Lagos Mainland, Nigeria

Reports To: Brand Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop content strategies aligned with our brand and marketing objectives.
• Manage social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Create engaging content ideas, captions, scripts, short-form videos and social media posts.
• Develop and maintain content calendars for product promotions, campaigns and launches.
• Coordinate with the creative team to ensure timely delivery of quality content.
• Monitor audience engagement, respond to feedback and grow our online community.
• Track content performance and prepare social media analytics reports.
• Monitor digital trends, competitors and consumer behaviour.
• Support influencer collaborations, product campaigns and brand activations.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across digital platforms.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in content strategy, social media management or digital marketing, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business.
• Strong copywriting, storytelling and creative communication skills.
• Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms and analytics.
• Experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut and relevant content tools.
• Strong organisational, analytical and project coordination skills.
• A portfolio or links to previous content and social media campaigns are required.
