Duties A consumer lending agent in a bank is responsible for a variety of tasks that involve both financial analysis and client service. Here are some of the key duties of a consumer lending agent:
Evaluate Loan Applications: Assessing the financial statements and character of applicants to determine their ability to repay the loan.
Manage the Lending Process: From application to disbursement, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.
Build Customer Relationships: Maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Provide Information and Advice: Offering accurate information on loan products and eligibility requirements to potential customers.
Meet Sales Targets: Achieving monthly sales and loan disbursement targets as part of the job responsibilities.
