IRES is seeking an experienced Consultant Trainer - Mining Engineering to deliver technical training, professional development programmes, workshops and mining engineering consultancy assignments.
- Design and deliver technical training programmes in mining engineering.
- Develop training materials, presentations, case studies and practical exercises.
- Facilitate technical workshops and professional learning sessions.
- Translate technical concepts and industry practices into practical learning.
- Provide technical input into training proposals, curricula and consultancy assignments.
- Provide technical advisory and subject-matter expertise on mining engineering assignments.
- Keep training content current with relevant technologies, standards and industry practices.
- Assess participant learning and provide constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or Mining and Mineral Engineering.
- Relevant Master's Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mine Management or a related field is an advantage.
- Registered and licensed by the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
- Current membership of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
- Relevant professional certification in the consultant's area of specialisation, where applicable.
- Demonstrated experience in professional training, facilitation, technical presentations or knowledge transfer.

Training & Facilitation Experience
- Experience delivering professional or technical training.
- Experience facilitating workshops, seminars or professional learning sessions.
