Job Summary
Sayed Farms Limited is seeking a competent and safety-conscious Construction Quality, Health & Safety Officer to oversee quality assurance, health, safety, and environmental compliance across construction projects.
The successful candidate will monitor site activities, enforce safety standards, ensure construction quality, and minimise workplace accidents and project risks.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Conduct routine site inspections and identify potential safety hazards, quality defects, and environmental risks.
Enforce health and safety procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and quality non-conformities, recommending corrective actions.
Maintain site inspection reports, risk assessments, safety records, and quality documentation.
Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and applicable construction safety standards.
Monitor corrective actions and follow up on identified safety and quality issues to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
HND or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in construction site quality, health, and safety management.
Knowledge of construction safety regulations, risk assessment, quality control, and incident investigation.
Relevant HSE or QHSE certification is an advantage.
Good communication, reporting, problem-solving, and inspection skills.
Ability to work on construction sites and enforce safety procedures effectively.
