Job Title: Confectionary Chef

Role Purpose
To provide baking and confectionery service within a client household: preparing breads, pastries, cakes and desserts for daily family needs and for entertaining, to the household’s tastes and dietary requirements.
Key responsibilities
Bake and prepare breads, pastries, cakes, cookies and desserts to the household’s preferences.
Plan baking schedules and menus, including celebration cakes and entertaining needs.
Manage the baking pantry: ingredients, provisioning and budget.
Meet food safety, hygiene and storage standards at all times.
Handle dietary restrictions and allergens (for example gluten-free, sugar-free, nut-free, halal).
Present baked items and desserts for family dining and guest events.
Keep the kitchen and baking equipment clean and in good working order.
Requirements and experience
SSCE minimum; a baking or pastry diploma or professional training is an advantage.
Proven experience in baking and confectionery, including cakes and pastry work.
Food safety and hygiene awareness; certification is an advantage.
Clean health record and food-handler medical clearance.
