Role Description

• The Comptia Network Tutor will deliver engaging, structured lessons to learners for CompTIA Network+ and related networking certifications in an on-site setting located in Ikeja. This contract role involves planning and teaching course content, explaining core networking concepts, guiding learners through hands-on labs, and providing personalized support through Q&A, assignments, and assessment. The tutor will create and update training materials, monitor learner progress, offer feedback, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles. The role also includes collaborating with the education team to align content with industry standards and maintain a professional, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, switching, network security, troubleshooting).
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring learners in IT or networking topics, preferably for CompTIA Network+ certification.
• Ability to design clear lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises that support different learning styles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a patient and supportive approach to instruction.
• Hands-on experience with network devices and tools (routers, switches, firewalls, network monitoring and diagnostic tools).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+ (N10 series), Security+, or equivalent networking credentials are highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Ikeja on a short time training and collaborate effectively with the wider education and operations teams.
