The firm primarily helps Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) optimize their workforce by handling end-to-end personnel management. They specialize in candidate screening to ensure businesses hire pre-vetted, reliable workers. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Compliance Officer

Job Location: Maryland, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure that the organization operates in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying compliance risks, monitoring business operations, developing compliance procedures, and promoting ethical business practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure the company's operations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance reviews and internal audits.
• Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to management.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
• Investigate compliance-related issues and prepare reports.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to employees.
• Work closely with different departments to ensure adherence to company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a compliance, audit, legal, or risk management role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
