Job Responsibilities
We are hiring a Compliance & Risk Lead. We are particularly interested in Compliance and Risk professionals with experience in NGOs, donor-funded programmes, consulting firms, or professional services firms. Candidates from these backgrounds are expected to be the strongest fit for this role.
The ideal candidate will be a practical, detail-oriented professional capable of leading the firm's legal, regulatory, contractual, operational, and funder compliance activities while providing leadership with clear visibility of key risks and compliance matters.
Requirements
3–5 years of professional experience in compliance, audit, risk, or legal.
Relevant experience in NGOs, donor-funded programmes, consulting, or professional services firms is strongly preferred.
Experience working in Big 4 or reputable audit firms is an added advantage.
Experience establishing a compliance function from scratch or auditing a large-scale funded programme is a strong advantage.
Working knowledge of Nigerian corporate, tax, and data protection requirements.
Strong contract review skills, particularly in identifying specific obligations and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with global funder rules and standards is an advantage.
Strong judgement, attention to detail, and confidence in raising compliance concerns with senior stakeholders.
Ability to identify practical, proportionate solutions to compliance and risk issues.
Salary N1,500,000 - N2,000,000 Monthly Gross
