Role Description

  • The Company Driver role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles to safely transport goods between warehouses, clients, and partner locations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to route schedules. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and complying with traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves interacting professionally with clients and colleagues during pickups and deliveries, supporting loading and unloading activities where needed, and following company policies and procedures. The driver will work closely with the logistics and operations teams to support efficient distribution of safety products across designated routes.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Truck Driving and safe operation of commercial vehicles.
  • Valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and a clean driving record.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for professional interaction with clients and team members.
  • Good knowledge of truck maintenance basics and familiarity with Lagos and surrounding routes.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Proven experience as a company or commercial driver, preferably within industrial or logistics settings.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols, work flexible hours, and handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading when required.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to punctuality and safe driving practices.
