Read and easily interpret basic technical blueprints and 3D design models.
Program CNC machines using modern CAD/CAM software like SolidWorks.
Set up manufacturing machinery for precision steel cutting and drilling.
Select the right cutting tools for processing galvanized steel materials.
Run quick simulations to test your programs before production begins.
Perform standard quality checks using standard precision measuring instruments.
Do routine daily checks to keep factory CNC equipment running nicely.
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent N6 qualification.
Certified trade test as a skilled CNC Machinist or Toolmaker.
Minimum of five years of experience programming multi-axis CNC machines.
A good positive attitude, willingness to learn & being a team player.
Solid understanding of standard G-code and M-code programming languages.
Ability to work well with others to meet normal production deadlines.
Good attention to detail to ensure excellent component quality.
