Role Description The Client Services Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for some work from home. This role is responsible for engaging with clients across multiple channels, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate information about Gbovo's auto loan, insurance, and investment products. Day-to-day tasks include onboarding new clients, handling service requests, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from application to post-sales support. The Client Services Officer will track and follow up on client accounts, escalate complex cases when needed, and collaborate with internal teams to meet service standards. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, gathering client feedback, and contributing to initiatives that enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive, professional relationships with diverse clients.
  • Proficiency in client services and customer support, with experience managing inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer satisfaction, including problem-solving and service recovery capabilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear, respectful, and timely client interactions.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling documentation and multiple client accounts.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM or customer service platforms; ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, or insurance is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
