Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, PR, Advertising or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in client management, account management, customer success, business development or integrated marketing.
• Experience in advertising, experiential, digital, events or technology-focused businesses is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing corporate and/or multinational clients.
• Strong understanding of campaigns, events, activations, digital marketing and brand communication.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Commercially strong, with experience in quotations, budgets, margins, upselling and account growth.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google Sheets and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Regional East African market exposure is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel across Africa when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow key client accounts while building strong relationships with decision-makers.
• Understand client briefs and translate them into clear proposals, campaigns, and execution plans.
• Coordinate Creative, Digital, Events, Production, and Operations teams for seamless project delivery.
• Manage projects from briefing and costing through execution, reporting, and closure.
• Identify upselling, cross-selling, and new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prepare and present proposals, concepts, quotations, and presentations to clients.
• Ensure projects meet agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and profit margins.
• Follow up on approvals, POs, invoicing, and client documentation.
• Maintain CRM/account pipelines and provide regular updates on client health, opportunities, and risks.
• Support new-business pitches and regional projects across East Africa.
