Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, monitor and inspect contractor activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and contract requirements.
  • Monitor construction quality and progress, raising concerns immediately were work deviates from contract requirements or high-quality standards.
  • Verify contract compliance, including specified tests and correct installation of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare site reports covering progress, safety issues, delays and third-party inspections.
  • Inspect workmanship and construction practices on assigned works.
  • Maintain organized site records, including contract documents, change orders, drawings, samples, meeting reports, and payment requests.
  • Coordinate with the Architect/Engineer during final inspections and documentation reviews at project completion.
  • Perform additional duties related to construction supervision as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in any of the following fields; Building and Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or Real Estate Management.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet timelines and perform under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Innovative, solution-oriented and able to liaise effectively with staff at all levels.
