Job Description
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) will be responsible for the safety and security of our staff, assets, premises/sites, and operations. The CSO will develop and enforce security policies, manage the security team (internal or outsourced), and advise management on risk.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s security strategy, policies, and procedures
Lead, train, and supervise security personnel and any contracted guard services
Conduct regular risk assessments, security audits, and threat analyses
Oversee access control, surveillance (CCTV), and alarm systems
Manage incident response, investigations, and reporting
Liaise with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies
Plan and oversee executive protection and security for company events and movements
Advise management on emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity
Manage the security budget and vendor relationships
Requirements
Must be a Retired Superintendent of Police (SP) or Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) from the Nigeria Police Force
Verifiable record of honorable service, with no history of disciplinary issues
Strong leadership, investigative, and risk management experience
Good knowledge of physical security, surveillance, and crisis response
Excellent communication, integrity, and sound judgment
Ability to work under pressure and be available for emergencies
Additional security or management certification is an advantage
