For appointment to this grade, an Officer must have:
Cumulative service period of nine (9) years' relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Deputy Chief Nursing Officer or in a comparable position;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised and accredited institution;
Master's Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognised and accredited institution;
Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable);
Valid practising license from the relevant professional body (where applicable); and
Demonstrated a clear understanding of national development policies, goals and objectives and ability to integrate them in nursing functions.
